The Vineyard Church Joins with Habitat for Humanity
To Build Houses for Low-Income Families
Every Saturday | March 8 - May 2
7:45 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Come join us in making a difference in our community this Spring by building houses for low income families with Habitat for Humanity. Construction begins at Habitat Lane in Rosenberg on Saturday, March 8th and will continue each Saturday for the next 9 weeks. Habitat Lane is located at the intersection of Avenue F and Jennetta Street in Rosenberg. Volunteers are not required to come on consecutive work days nor do they need any specialized skills. We simply need able hands and willing hearts. We will meet at the site for each work day which starts at 8 a.m. and concludes around 3:30 p.m. Volunteers need to be at least 14 years old and should bring work gloves, a good hat, and sturdy shoes (no open toed footwear). Tools will be provided but volunteers are welcome to bring a nail apron or favorite hammer. If you have any questions, please contact Thomas Lyons at thomas@slvineyard.org.
