Within our church community, we use the words  “mission” and “missions”  in a broad sense to speak of the call on every Christian’s life to go out into the world living the life of Jesus and proclaiming the good news of Jesus in such a way that we are truly His witnesses – so that those who don’t know Him will turn to Him.

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to equip and motivate every member to be in mission every day of his/her life. 

In addition, we are very involved as a church in specific missions activities – particularly in church planting in many parts of the world.  Here are some of  these ministries:

Short term missions trips

Church planting:  Places we are directly involved in supporting missionaries whose primary objective is church planting:

            Turkey

            Mexico

            A republic in south west Asia

            Katy, Texas

            San Antonio, Texas

            Huntsville, Texas

We also support a few other strategic ministries that relate indirectly to church planting.

Giving:  We receive a missions offering the first Sunday of each month to assist us to support these ministries.  We urge all members to heavily invest in missions through giving, prayer, and personal involvement.
