V-LEARNING

V-LEARNING is a category of opportunities in the The Vineyard Church to grow in your understanding of God and His Word and grow in relationship with Him. These typically take the form of classes offered in a variety of times and places throughout the year. Whether you are just beginning to explore the Christian faith or you are further along on your journey, there will be an opportunity for you to grow.

V-LEARNING is divided into some useful categories to help you decide how to get involved:
Getting Started | Bible Study | Kingdom Living | Digging Deeper | VLI/VBI

Getting Started

“Getting Started” courses are designed to give you an introduction to an area of Biblical study or Christian Living. These start at the beginning and require no previous exposure to the topic. This is a great way to start out exploring the Bible, theology, and Christian living. We will offer these throughout 2008. “Getting Started” courses run for six - eight consecutive Sundays.

Bible Study

“Bible Study” courses, as part of V-LEARNING, are eight-week surveys of a book of the Bible. These classes identify major themes and topics in a particular book and help you study and apply it to your life. In 2008 we will cover several books in the New Testament. Later, we will begin to introduce some Old Testament books. We will offer these courses throughout 2008.

Kingdom Living

Kingdom Living courses focus on recognizing and living in God’s Kingdom in everyday life. Kingdom Living topics we vary in topic from sharing your faith and understanding God’s mission in the world to personal finances.

Digging Deeper

Digging Deeper courses are special courses designed to take a more comprehensive look at a topic. These will be designed as weekend intensives and will often require prior exposure to a topic. Look for these about once a quarter.
