Community Care Ministries

We are not created to walk through life alone! Through our relationship with God and relationships with others, we experience healing. Community Care Ministries at The Vineyard is designed to help others by walking alongside of them in the journey of life.

Whether it is a crisis situation, addiction, trauma, relational struggle, spiritual question, or ongoing issue, Community Care provides a safe, supportive, and confidential environment to address needs.

All of us encounter struggles, hurts, and areas of brokenness, but it is God’s desire to restore, redeem, and renew us. Through the love of our heavenly Father and our embracing who we are in Christ, Community Care Ministries seeks to join in the work of the Holy Spirit in people’s lives so that they may experience freedom and joy.

Realizing each individual’s journey of healing is unique; Community Care Ministries offers the following opportunities for healing and growth:

Individual Lay Counseling

Lay Counseling is offered throughout the year for individuals who wish to meet in a one-on-one setting with a counselor. Lay counselors have completed training in basic counseling skills, biblical principles, are involved in regular continuing education, and receive weekly ongoing supervision by a Licensed Professional Counselor. Lay counseling usually takes place over the period of ten sessions with a requested minimal donation of ten dollars per session.

Professional Counseling

Professional counseling is available for individuals, couples, and families by a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is on staff at the Vineyard. Additionally, referrals are provided to area professionals who have a relationships with the Vineyard and who specialize in various issues. A per session fee is required.

Care Groups or Support Groups

Care groups are offered on a regular basis at the Vineyard, and address specific life issues. Care groups range length and size and provide a more intimate environment to work through life’s issues. The following are on-going groups that are offered yearly:
