Serve in our Local Community

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven," (Matthew 5:13).

"Spending time with children at Arms of Love [orphanage] showed me that God is more than capable of using our brokenness to reach those that are yearning to be understood and loved...God showed me what it means to truly love someone unconditionally and all it took was seeing people through His eyes. It would have been easy to go on a mission trip with the agenda of working with kids, feeding the hungry and healing the sick in Nicaragua, but God showed me that no life is more meaningful than another."

"We are all broken and poor in spirit at times, and we should always remember that it’s not the most obvious wounds that need the most healing."

"...Remember that each and every person is loved by our Heavenly Father. Missions are as much about serving as anything that you could ever do. Always keep an open eye for someone that needs to be served...bless others by allowing them to minister to you."

"Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit," (Matthew 28:19, The Message).

What would you say to a person considering going on a short-term mission trip with the Vineyard?  "I would say GO! Your life will forever change as you seek God and his heart for his people. In the process of your service to him, you’ll be changed and would want to be where he is!"
